A disease which isn’t a disease yet
Cellulite is the result of a weak connective tissue and a dysfunction of the physiological muscle pump. The muscle pump is important for both, the lymph system an the venous backflow. A disease which isn’t a disease yet
The heart needs the help of the physiological muscle pump. Because we are upstanding men, the heart is not sufficiently strong to suck the blood from the lower limbs back to the trunk. If the pressure of the muscle pump is blown out because the connective tissue was too weak, the blood will retain in the capillary vessels. This causes the spider veins. Varicose veins, thrombosis and oedema
There is not such a long journey from spider veins to varicose veins. Sooner or later the varicose veins tend to thrombosis. And as a result of the thrombosis there will be swellings and congestions in the lower limbs, the feet and legs. Already 90% of the adults are suffering from weak veins (Bonn Vein Study, 2004). Cellulite seems to be the prestage of the later leg diseases. A good reason to take care. more...
